Looking for something fun to do this holiday with the family?

Brian and I have been together for 9 years now. When the holidays come, we use this as a time for experiences over gifts. You'll most likely find us in the gorgeous mountains, but when we are not in the mountains we have some city events we make sure to hit when this time of year rolls around. So we are sharing with you, some of our favorite things to do during the holidays. We invite you guys to get out and experience Utah in the winter!

1.) Temple Square Lights | 50 W. North Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah 84150 | 5:00 PM to 11:59 PM

You do not have to be religious to enjoy the Salt Lake City Temple. There is beauty in the architecture and the millions of lights that they set up for the holidays. Brian and I enjoy a walk, listening to the traditional Christmas songs. More Details!

2.) Downtown Jingle Bus | 51 S. Main Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84101 | 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM

 A great way to go between City Creek Center, The Gateway, Temple Square, The Gallivan Plaza & Capital Theatre. Jingle Bus runs from 5 – 10 PM, 7 days a week (Except Christmas Day) free of charge, courtesy of the SLC Downtown Alliance, City Creek Center, The Gateway and other sponsors. More Details!

3.) Luminara | 3003 North Thanksgiving Way, Lehi, UT 84043 | 5:00 PM to 11:59 PM

An amazing way to get in some steps. This is about a mile walk through lights that move. You will see the flying reindeer, blooming poinsettias and other holiday season symbols. At the end they have an enormous tree fully lit!. More Details!

4.) The Gallivan Center | 239 South Main Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84111 | Check Schedule Online

This was one of Brian and I's first Christmas's. We went ice skating, walked the lights, and grabbed a beer. This rink is outside and they just rebuilt the entire center. You have the ice rink, that has heaters and fires all around. It really sets a scene, especially when it's snowing! Man, it crazy to look back and think its been 9 years. More Details!
